Accessibility Statement

Lurie & Associates is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We want every visitor to be able to learn about our firm, read our articles, and contact our attorneys without barriers, and we continue to work on improving the experience for all users.

Our Standard

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), as our guide. These guidelines explain how to make web content more usable for people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or have motor, cognitive, or learning disabilities. We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort, not a one-time project.

What We Do

Steps we take to support accessibility on this website include:

  • Writing descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images
  • Using a clear heading structure so pages can be navigated with screen readers
  • Labeling contact form fields and describing required fields
  • Setting the page language so assistive technology reads content correctly
  • Designing pages to work on phones, tablets, and desktop computers, and when text is enlarged
  • Reviewing new pages and content for accessibility before they are published

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Areas we are aware of include:

  • Third-party content. Some features are provided by outside services, including the audio player for Barak Lurie’s radio show (hosted by Omny.fm) and the embedded Google Map on our contact pages. We do not control the accessibility of these services. Our office address and directions are also provided in text on the page.
  • Audio content. Transcripts may not be available for every radio show episode. If you would like information from a specific episode, please contact us.
  • Older content. Some older articles and documents may not meet current accessibility standards. We update them as they are reviewed.

If you have difficulty with any part of this website, please let us know so we can help.

Compatibility

This website is designed to work with current versions of major web browsers, including Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox, and with common assistive technologies such as screen readers and screen magnifiers. It may not display or function correctly in older browsers.

Feedback and Assistance

We welcome your feedback. If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this website, need information in a different format, or would like assistance, please contact us:

When you contact us, please describe the page and the problem you experienced so we can respond effectively.

Please note that contacting us about website accessibility does not create an attorney-client relationship. If you need an accommodation to meet with us or visit our office, let us know when you schedule and we will do our best to help.

Ongoing Commitment

We review this website periodically and make improvements as technology and accessibility standards evolve. This statement will be updated as that work continues.
